General Specifications
Circulation:
12,000 copies of each issue are printed bi-monthly and distributed throughout the two months. The magazine is available free at feed stores, tack shops and other equine suppliers. It is also passed out at local, regional and national shows to riders, trainers, managers and horse enthusiasts of all breeds & disciplines, at all levels of competition. The area we target can be defined as Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, & central Florida.

Mechanical Specifications:
Format: 8.25” x 10.75”, 4 color; full bleed ads submit 1/4" larger all the way around. No RGB or spot colors. Color graphics and images must be saved as CMYK. Submit photos on CD/disc/email scanned at 300 dpi or higher, EPS or TIFF format preferred. Email photos as a jpg attachment. Camera Ready Ads can be submitted as a PDF or EPS file and should be accompanied by a color laser copy. All submissions become the property of Reins & Manes; only those submissions made with a self addressed envelope bearing appropriate postage and a letter requesting the return of said materials will be returned via the US Postal Service.

Deadline:
All submissions must be received by the 5th of the month prior to the month of publication. Contract advertiser’s ads will be repeated unless copy changes are received by the deadline. No ad copy or corrections will be accepted over the phone; all materials or corrections must be faxed or mailed to our office and must be received by the deadline.

Proofs:
Proofs are furnished by request only. All changes and corrections must be made in writing and are not accepted after the deadline.

Cancellations:
Reins & Manes is unable to accept cancellations after the advertising deadline.

Payment Terms:
Payment in advance preferred for all advertising. Contract advertisers must pay for the first insertion in advance and will be billed thereafter. Repeat ads will only be run if previous balance is paid in full prior to deadline. Entire contract must be run within 12 months to qualify for contract rate. MasterCard, Visa and checks accepted; include account number and expiration date with MC/VISA transactions.

Editorial Focus:
Reins & Manes is committed to providing a high quality, effective print marketplace for the Southeast equine sales industry. In addition, each issue features an informative article and/or a brief biography of a professional in the Southeast.

Contract/Copy Regulations:
All contents of advertisement are subject to publisher’s approval. Publisher reserves the right to not publish any advertisement which, in the opinion of the publisher, is in bad taste, is misleading, is unsupported by facts of record, or does not conform to the standards and style of Reins & Manes. The advertiser and its agency agrees to relieve Reins & Manes and its employees of responsibility from any and all claims or suits arising out of publication of advertising based on information supplied by advertiser. All submissions must be accompanied by a written order or cover letter bearing a signature. Advertisers accept responsibility for all copyrighted and trademarked artwork and photograph submissions. Advertisers agree to hold Reins & Manes, its agents and employees, harmless for copyright infringement claims for ad artwork and photographs submitted for publication. Reins & Manes is not responsible for events occurring from buying, selling, or trading any advertised good or service; content of message is the sole responsibility of advertiser.
